Magical hideaway in my favourite place in Wales.  It’s the nicest place I’ve stayed in the Ewyas Valley and I can’t wait to come back.  The cabin is so cosy and comfortable and well equipped.  The views are superb and the location is easy to get to with pubs in walking distance

Immaculately designed and with everything you’ll need. Stunning walks from the door, once you can haul yourself away from sitting in front of that amazing view. And the most lovely hosts. An absolute gem, all round.

Just got back from an amazing stay in the Castaway.
Being off grid for a few days made us felt relaxed and recharged. Cosy nights in by the log burner while listening to the pouring rain is the best.
Now back in the city but still dreaming about this lovely place in the Welsh countryside.
I can’t wait to be back and will definitely book a much longer stay.

Exceeded our expectations completely. This perfect bolthole has everything you need for time away from the norm. We spent a couple of nights here and were transfixed by the beautiful location and serene environment. The carriage is definitely well cared for and maintained to a high standard. We wanted for nothing. Delicious welcome pack (ever so thoughtful) and gorgeous products to use in the shower room.

Explore a secret Welsh valley. Long, lovely and flanked by whalebacked hills, it feels thrillingly remote.
Book Castaway and once darkness falls you’ll very nearly have it all to yourself – Llanthony Valley is a
Dark Sky reserve.

I don’t think that I will be the only soul to arrive here in darkness and awaken to a soul lighting morning
view. This place is special. Bless this cabin. And all who stay here.

Probably the most beautiful place I have ever stayed in – this unique cabin has a calm ‘power down and
reboot’ tranquility – truly magical.

A devine short break away from everything. Perfect ‘Baby Moon’ before becoming a family of four in the New Year! Very relaxed, hard to do as parents of a three year old. Very safe. Very warm. Very lovely.
